They are often very gimmicky and do little for ones gaming experience. When considering this, I opened the FragFX Piranha on the team from Splitfish. Besides its go faster red colour, what the heck is immediately evident is it is actually a playstation3 controller piece of kit. Technical Specifications Lightweight separated into two parts, each of which are coupled to the one USB cord. Part one can be a hand control unit, kinda much like the left-hand side of the normal PlayStation controller, that has the conventional left hand thumbstick, the D-Pad, and triggers. What's more, it houses a smallish glowing LED PlayStation button plus the select button, both within easy reach of one's thumb. There's also two non-standard buttons; a mouse sensitivity dial plus the Frag button, which can be set PS3 controller standthe regular two trigger buttons. Split off from the leading cord is a mouse - an extremely unusual element of a PlayStation controller. It has the conventional nearly everywhere mouse buttons, two centre buttons (start button and R3), and - within the left-hand side of the mouse button - the normal four face buttons from a regular controller. Lightweight however besides limited by PS3 Cooling Fan as the mouse will also be create for replacements with the Playstation 3 slim browser menu's like the PS3 Controller Charge Station plus the internet. These units are portable designed to be firmware upgradeable, and you can also download software to reassign the buttons if you're not very happy with the stock layout.
